Patoleo

Potoleo is typically prepared during Monsoons and special occasions. Sao Joao is one of the main monsoon festivals when Patoleo outshines. Patoleo is a traditional Goan sweet dish made with rice flour, jaggery, and grated coconut. It’s wrapped in turmeric leaves and steamed. 

Choris Pao

Spicy pork sausages (choris) are served in a local bread roll - Pao, Choris Pao is a popular Goan delicacy mainly consumed as a snack in Goa. The sausages are usually flavored with vinegar, garlic, and Goan spices. 

Bebinca

Bebinca is the most loved form of Indo-Portuguese sweet dish in Goa. Fun fact it has a GI tag of Goa. It’s a multi-layered dessert made with milk, sugar, ghee & flour. Each layer is baked individually, creating a dense & indulgent treat. 

Sannas

Sannas is another sweet dish, often served as an accompaniment to Goan curries. They are made with fermented rice batter and coconut milk. It is a steamed rice cake fluffy in texture.

Sorpotel

 A Portuguese-origin dish commonly made with pork is a traditional food item that adds to the festive spirit. It is spicy & sourish inflavorr, usually enjoyed with pao or cooked rice.
