There are only a few temples dedicated to lord Brahma in whole of India, some located at Rajasthan, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.
Not well known but there is one situated in Goa as well.
Brahmakarmali temple was first located in Karmali village. The advent of Portuguese in Goa led to temple's displacement at another location called Nagargao.
The legend says that the idol was originally suppose to be taken away from Goa. But Lord Brahama wished to stay in the land of Goa.
It is believed that Lord Brahma passed this message to Pandit ji in his dreams while on the journey to relocate the idol to a safer place.
And since then, the idol of lord Brahma resides at Nagargaon, now known as Brahmakarmali,
