A tribute to Saint John the Baptist, Sao Joao is annually celebrated in Goa during the Monsoon season. Men swim in the local well, streams and ponds. The celebration signifies the legend of Saint John and welcomes the soothing season of Monsoon with music, dance and joy.

Chikal kalo is one of a kind celebrations that is traditionally o by the locals in the village of Ponda, Goa. This interesting festival is said to be arganizedbout 400 years old.

Sangodd stands for togetherness and unity. It’s celebrated by the fishing communities of Goa. Traditionally, locals seek blessings for the upcoming fishing season.
