Agriculture is one of the most significant occupations in Goa that include cultivation or rice followed by pulses and millets. Coconut, cashew, nuts and spices are plantation crops that dictates Goa's farming scene.

Basket weaving in Goa is not just an occupation but also a art form. The raw material used is bamboo that are purposed to make baskets, decoratives, utilities etc.
